Free Shuttle Buses Version 2007.1 (5 May 07)

May 5, 2007 at 6:27 pm (Freebies, Transport)

Free Shuttle Buses Version 2007.1 has been released. It can be downloaded here. For full changelog, please visit my Free Shuttle Buses blog. I know it may be a little hard to read but I’m trying to condense as much information as possible into 1 page so that it’s easier to carry around (just fold it and put in the wallet or something). I’ll still try my best to improve the layout in future versions though. Meanwhile, if you have any other free shuttle services that I missed out or any suggestions for improvement, feel free to leave comments.

Note: I have tried my best to ensuring the accuracy of the timings in the file and it only serves a rough guide. I will not bear any responsibility for any changes in timings due to unforeseen circumstances.

Blogroll – Free Shuttle Buses

April 20, 2007 at 6:37 pm (Freebies, Transport)

I started this Free Shuttle Buses blog a while back to release a list of free shuttle buses (no strings attached) in Singapore which people can print and keep in their wallet. I’ve updated the list and the latest version 2007.0 (released 20 Apr 07) can be downloaded here. Future updates to this list will be posted here and on the Free Shuttle Buses blog but the full changelog will only be available on the Free Shuttle Buses blog.

Note: I have tried my best to ensuring the accuracy of the timings in the file and it only serves a rough guide. I will not bear any responsibility for any changes in timings due to unforeseen circumstances.

SBS Transit: “Ride & Redeem” Rewards Programme (1 Apr 07- 31 Mar 08)

April 2, 2007 at 6:02 pm (Freebies, Promotions, Transport)

SBS Transit is launching an island-wide Ride & Redeem programme to reward loyal commuters who travel on SBS buses, North East Line (NEL) trains and Sengkang or Punggol LRT. From 1 April 2007 to 31 March 2008, commuters will be rewarded for every trip that they take with SBS Transit using their ez-link cards.

Commuters can earn Transit Dollars (TDs) for every trip fare spent. They can then use these TDs, accumulated in their ez-link cards, to redeem for various prizes. For example, if a commuter spends $0.65 on one of the trips, 0.65 TDs will be earned. If he accumulates 50 TDs, he can exchange it for a free brownie. Other treats include manicure services and even free dishes at dining outlets.

Commuters can also earn Bonus Dollars (BDs) if there is a usage value increase of at least $1 as compared to the previous week. These BDs can also be used to redeem for attractive prizes such as resort stays. New prizes will be offered every quarter. For quarterly prize list, refer to http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/promo_microsite/prizelist.aspx.

To participate in this programme, commuters will need to register their ez-link cards on our website at http://www.sbstransit.com.sg. There is no registration fee required. The first 2,000 commuters to sign up will also receive a free Mr Bean soya milk drink.

More details here.
